Sinivalko Villat - Blue n' White Villas: Villa Sini Booking terms & conditions We comply with these terms and conditions when renting villas. The terms and conditions are binding on both parties after the customer has paid the booking fee or the booking fee and the final payment in one go as stated in the terms and conditions. The person making the booking must be of legal age. Making a booking: A booking can be made by email, in which case a confirmation of the booking will be sent to the customer's email soon after. After making a booking, the customer will receive an invoice for payment. Payment terms: The customer must pay at least a booking fee (25% of the booking price), which is due one week after making the booking. The final payment is due six weeks before the start of the rental period. All comments regarding the invoice must be reported within 7 days of the invoice date. The invoice is paid as a SEPA payment (IBAN account number and bank BIC code) using the reference number on the invoice. The reservation is confirmed when the customer has paid the reservation fee (25% of the reservation price) by the due date or the reservation fee and the final payment in one go. If the reservation is made later than six weeks before the start of the rental period, the rent must be paid in full immediately. If the customer does not comply with the payment terms, the entrepreneur has the right to consider the reservation is canceled and the contract is terminated. Cancellation of the reservation: Cancellations must always be done by writing to bluenwhitevillas(at)gmail.com If the customer cancels their reservation: If the customer cancels the reservation, the advance payment of 25 percent of the holiday rental will not be refunded. Less than 28 days before the start date of the reservation, the customer will be charged the full price of the reservation. If the customer or a close person living in the same household suddenly becomes seriously ill, has a serious accident or dies, the customer has the right to cancel the contract and receive a refund of the price paid for the reservation minus delivery costs of 120 euros. However, payments will not be refunded if the use of the service has already begun. The impediment must be reported immediately. Illness and accident preventing the use of the service must be proven with a medical certificate. Entrepreneur's right to cancel the contract: The entrepreneur has the right to cancel the contract or interrupt the provision of the service in case of 'force majeure' event, such as a fire, natural disaster, action by the authorities, a strike or other comparable unforeseen event beyond the entrepreneur's control, prevents or substantially complicates the provision of the service. If the contract is terminated, the customer will be refunded the full price paid or if the service is interrupted the price corresponding to the unfulfilled part. The company will immediately notify the customer of any obstacle that prevents the service from being provided. If the reservation has to be interrupted due to the customer's disruptive behavior, the payments will not be refunded. Payments will also not be refunded if the reservation has to be interrupted due to a violation by the customer (unauthorized number of people etc.). Stay at the Sinivalko Villat - Blue n' White Villas: Villa(s) is available to the customer from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival until 3:00 PM on the day of departure, unless otherwise is agreed. The rental of the holiday destination includes free use for the stated number of people. Additional people and pets exceeding the number must be agreed separately. The equipment and number of people and pets at the holiday destination are stated in the owner's announcement. Camping or the use of a motorhome or caravan on the holiday property is prohibited. Smoking is prohibited indoors and in barbeque house. Charging an electric car is strictly prohibited (Possible electric system overload)! Customer responsibilities and handover of the Villa(s) on the day of departure: The customer is responsible for any damage caused to the property. The landlord must be notified immediately of any damage. The customer is obliged to compensate the owner of the holiday home for any damage caused. The owner is not responsible for any damage caused to the customer's personal belongings or property during the rental period of the villa.   The property must be left in a clean condition and as it was before the rental period began. Wash the dishes and also clean the countertops and all surfaces. The power must be turned off to household appliances, and the taps of washing machines must be turned off. Turn Mitsubishi air conditioning off. Empty and clean the refrigerator and freezer cabinets. Leave the property in a clean condition in the outdoor areas too, including the barbecue hut and rowing boat(s). The customer is obliged to pay the costs incurred for cleaning the villa in the event that smoking has taken place inside the villa or the aforementioned cleaning measures have not been carried out or have been carried out inadequately and the villa(s) owner has to take care of the cleaning before the next customer arrives. If the customer does not use all the agreed services or uses them only partially, he is not entitled to a price reduction or refund on this basis. Comments and complaints: The customer is obliged to immediately notify the entrepreneur of any defects that can be corrected during the use of the service. If the defects have not been corrected during the rental period, claims for compensation must be made in writing (email) to the entrepreneur within 30 days of the end of the rental period. If the customer and the entrepreneur cannot reach an agreement, the customer may refer the dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board. Before this, the consumer advice service must be contacted. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction for disputes. The parties to the agreement shall endeavour to resolve any disputes arising from the agreement through mutual negotiations. If no agreement is reached in the negotiations, the disputes shall be resolved in the Lappeenranta District Court. The agreement shall be governed by Finnish law. Key handover and instructions: Key handover and return take place on site. The customer receives the keys no earlier than 4:00 p.m. on the day of arrival and returns the keys no later than 3:00 p.m. on the day of departure as agreed. Any other times must be agreed separately with the landlord. If the key is lost, the customer is obliged to pay a new set of keys (3 doors/one villa) + a 15% invoicing surcharge.
