Cancellation terms by Sisu Fishing Oy

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS Sisu Fishing Oy | Updated 26.4.2026 1. Service Provider The service provider is Sisu Fishing Oy (Business ID), which organises fishing trips and other nature-based programme services in Finland. Services are carried out in accordance with applicable legislation, including the Act on the Safety of Consumer Goods and Services (75/2004) and regulations governing programme services. 2. Making a Reservation Booking a fishing trip requires a written or electronic booking request from the customer. A reservation is confirmed when: 1. the customer has received a written booking confirmation from Sisu Fishing Oy 2. the agreed advance payment has been made by the specified deadline. 3. Advance Payment To confirm the reservation, the customer pays a 50% advance payment of the total service price, unless otherwise agreed. The advance payment confirms the booking and commits both parties to the agreement. 4. Payment Terms The remaining balance must be paid before the fishing trip begins, in accordance with the payment schedule stated in the booking confirmation. 5. Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be made in writing. Cancellation fees: • more than 30 days before the trip → advance payment refunded in full • 30–15 days before the trip → 50% of the advance payment refunded • 14–7 days before the trip → 25% of the advance payment refunded • less than 7 days before the trip → advance payment non-refundable If the service is cancelled by the service provider, the customer will receive a full refund of all payments made, or a new date will be agreed upon. 6. Weather Conditions and Safety The implementation of the fishing trip depends on safe weather conditions. Sisu Fishing Oy reserves the right to postpone, suspend or cancel the service for safety reasons (e.g. thunderstorm, storm, dangerous waves). Normal rainfall or cool weather is not grounds for cancellation. 7. Compliance with Safety Instructions The guide responsible for the safety of the programme service operates in accordance with applicable legislation, including the Act on the Safety of Consumer Goods and Services. Participants must: • follow the safety instructions given by the guide or boat operator • use the safety equipment provided • follow the instructions given on the boat • act responsibly on the water. The service provider has the right to suspend the service or remove a participant who endangers safety. 8. Customer Responsibility and Equipment The customer is responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate health and physical condition for the service. Participants must be properly equipped with: • weather-resistant clothing • a hat • sunglasses or protective eyewear • sturdy footwear. 9. Fishing Management Fee Participants are responsible for paying the valid fishing management fee in accordance with the Fishing Act (379/2015). Sisu Fishing Oy is not responsible for any consequences resulting from failure to pay the fee. 10. Insurance Sisu Fishing Oy holds the liability insurance required for its operations. Customers are recommended to take out their own: • personal accident insurance • travel insurance. 11. Limitation of Liability Sisu Fishing Oy is responsible for the safe implementation of the service in accordance with applicable legislation. Sisu Fishing Oy is not liable for: • damages caused by the customer's own negligence • damage to the customer's property, unless the damage is caused by the service provider's fault. 12. Compliance with Laws and Regulations Participants must comply with the Fishing Act (379/2015), catch quotas and local fishing regulations. The guide will brief participants on the applicable regulations on site. 13. Acceptance of Terms By making a reservation, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted these terms and conditions. Terms updated 26.4.2026
