Your Fishing Experience

Fishing is possible from the jetty at any time. The protected bay offers excellent fishing opportunities with a rowboat. The bay is large enough to also allow trolling with a rowboat. For fishing outside the bay, a motorboat is recommended to comfortably reach the more distant fishing spots. Access to the lake from the shore is only possible in a few places. The lake features a variety of underwater structures and drop-offs, which are especially well suited for fishing by boat. The lake bottom is partly rocky and sandy, with scattered aquatic vegetation. The many islands in Lake Puruvesi are easily accessible by boat and offer idyllic barbecue areas, swimming spots, and beautiful shallow bays perfect for relaxing and unwinding.
