The charming Mansikka Cottage (Finnish for strawberry) was built in 1999, the same year the surrounding fields were used to grow organically cultivated strawberries – making the name an easy choice. Mansikka perfectly combines the warmth of traditional Finnish log construction with the comforts of modern living, making it ideal for couples or small families of up to four people.

Inside, you’ll find a cozy living room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, and a bedroom featuring a queen-size bed with a single upper bunk. A twin sofa bed in the living area provides additional sleeping space. The wood-heated sauna with a shower offers a soft, authentic heat – a truly Finnish experience.

Just 20 meters from the lakeshore, the water is shallow and child-friendly, with a private jetty, grill, and rowing boat available for guests. For a touch of luxury, there’s also a wood-heated outdoor hot tub for 2–4 people – perfect for summer evenings or crisp winter nights.
