Villa Hiekkaranta is a spacious and comfortable lakeside villa on the main waters of Lake Simpelejärvi. A private sandy beach, private pier and quiet location make it an ideal base for fishing groups, families and friends. From the door it is only a few steps to the pier and straight out onto the fishing grounds.
The villa offers comfortable bedrooms and living areas, a fully equipped kitchen, sauna, terrace, grill and fish-cleaning area. After a day on the lake, relax in the sauna, swim from your own beach and watch the sunset over Simpelejärvi.

Direct car ferry from Travemünde to Helsinki (Finnlines), from there 320 km to Parikkala. By car through the Baltics to Tallinn, from there car ferry to Helsinki (2 h) and 320 km to Parikkala. Ferry from Travemünde to Sweden, drive to Stockholm, overnight ferry to Helsinki, and 320 km drive to Parikkala. By flight and car (Frankfurt – Savonlinna / Helsinki) Direct flight from Frankfurt to Savonlinna (New for 2027): Discover Airlines (Lufthansa Group) operates direct flights from Frankfurt (FRA) to Savonlinna (SVL) during the summer season from June 19 to August 29, 2027 (once a week on the Saturday–Sunday night). From Savonlinna Airport, it is only about a 1-hour drive to the cottages. Helsinki-Vantaa (HEL): Daily direct flights from Germany to Helsinki. Rental car from the airport (driving time to the destination approx. 3.5–4 hours).

Open water and deeper structures are excellent for jigging and vertical fishing, while island shores, bays and reed beds are productive areas for pike. Fully equipped fishing boats are delivered directly to the villa's private pier with full tanks, charged batteries and fishing electronics ready to use.
