Villa Muikku

Welcome to Hiukkajoki, where Villa Muikku is located just 10 meters from the shore of Lake Puruvesi – one of Finland’s cleanest and clearest lakes. The lake is renowned for its exceptional water quality and abundant fish stocks, offering excellent fishing opportunities throughout the year. Whether you enjoy spinning, trolling, fly fishing, or ice fishing, here you will find the perfect combination of tranquility, nature, and authentic fishing experience. Villa Muikku is a spacious 89 m² holiday cottage with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, ideal for families or groups of up to six people. It is modernly equipped with WiFi, TV, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee machine, and a sauna. Outdoors, there is a private jetty, a slipway, as well as a boat and a rowboat available, allowing you easy access to the diverse fishing spots on the lake. Additionally, there is a grill, a fire pit, a smoker, and fish cleaning facilities both inside and outside. Pets are welcome, and the accommodation is family-friendly. The farm is lovingly run by our family in its second generation. Upon request, we serve breakfast in the main house made from fresh, regional ingredients. The host is a passionate fisherman who regularly fishes with nets and traps on Lake Puruvesi and knows the waters like the back of his hand. He is happy to provide personal tips on the best fishing spots, techniques, and special features of the lake.
