Welcome to LappeanLohi, a peaceful riverside retreat on the banks of Lapland’s legendary Tornionjoki River – the largest free-flowing salmon river in Europe. Set at the confluence of two vibrant, fish-filled rivers, Lappea offers a unique setting where tradition, community, and wild nature come together.

Every summer, the waters come alive with the great Baltic salmon run, drawing passionate anglers from around the world. Even without a catch, as local lore says, "It’s worth fishing for salmon, even if you don’t get one."

This package is perfect for beginners and experienced anglers alike. With expert guidance from our dedicated salmon fishing instructors, you’ll learn the secrets of river trolling and safe fishing practices – all while soaking in the relaxed, communal atmosphere that brings guests back year after year.

Available: June 8 – August 23 (Note No fishing allowed from Sundays 7 p.m. to Mondays 7 p.m.)

The permit area includes state-owned sidewaters within the Tornion-Muonionjoki fisheries region. These waters are located on lakes, ponds, and smaller rivers and streams. They extend north from Pello up to the border of the municipality of Enontekiö. The angling permit does not grant the right to fish in joint permit areas within the region. The Tornionjoki River and Muonionjoki River are not included in the permit area.
