This is a multi-day wilderness float built around fly fishing and river travel, guided by the oarsman on a custom drift boat-style raft through roadless stretches of an arctic river. The river sets the pace as the long days are spent drifting downstream, casting from the raft, and navigating whitewater.
Fly fishing focuses on migratory trout that move upstream from the lake throughout the summer toward their spawning grounds. These fish are powerful, selective, demanding solid technique, patience, and time on the water. It's not an easy catch, and that is precisely the point. If you want more frequent strikes, grayling and pike are always present on the river.
This is the only true wilderness float trip of its kind currently offered in Europe. Once on the water, there is no road access, no cell service, and no way through except downstream.
If you’re an adventurous fly fisherman looking for a one-of-a-kind experience and wild fish in wild places, this is it.
