With last minute changes in Teno fishing regulations, there is now a very unique opportunity to fish for Teno Salmon in its tributary, Utsjoki river! This possibility is only via local fishing rights holders, like our family.

Number of permits is very limited, so be quick to reserve! This opportunity is ONLY for a very limited time, from July 1st at 19.00 to July 3 rd at 18.59, ONLY in the Utsjoki river, a tributary of Teno, and ONLY on the lands of local permit holders (Utsjoen kirkonkylän kalastusosakaskunnan vesialueet).

The deal includes:
- accommodation in a well-equipped cottage by River Teno for 1.-4.7.2026,
- fishing permits to Utsjoki river for 1.7.2026 at 19.00 to 3.7.2026 at 18.59,
- a welcome info about the area and fishing,
- and also the disinfection procedures for your own fishing gear.
- The fully guided deal means that you also have private airport transfers from Kirkenes (Norway) or Ivalo (Finland) airports AND
- three guided fishing tours for your stay.

You can add buffet breakfast for 18 euros/person and enjoy local cuisine in the near-by á la carte restaurant!

Fishing permits:
Your holiday includes fishing permits for Utsjoki river for 48 hours, with one rod (spinner or fly). Catch quota for Atlantic Salmon is maximum one fish per fisherman, lenght 30-65 cm. From Utsjoki, you can also catch grayling, pike, trout and white fish, without any catch quota. However, we encourage to release your catch, except for grayling and pike. This and much more we will explain in the arrival info, so you are sure to know best fishing places and practices! You can also add other fishing permits to your holiday.

Your accommodation:
You will be staying at well-equipped cottages right by River Teno, with beautiful nature around you and a river view. You have free access to a bird watching tower and grill huts on the premises. Feel free to use the bikes in the storage, or walk on the marked trails near by!
Cottages have two bedrooms with comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace, private sauna, washing machine, toilet and shower, and a porch with view directly to the river! We will stop at grocery store once or more times during your stay, so you can purchase drinks and food to your cottage.
Cottages have drinkable tap water, electricity, heating/air-conditioning and internet connection.
The cottages are located 2 km from Utsjoki village and village services. Closest restaurant with breakfast and á la carte services is only 300 meters from the cottages.

Guided fishing tours:
Our travel deals always include an arrival introduction to explain about local fishing regulations and water areas. This deal also includes three guided fishing trips up to 5 hours to Utsjoki river. You can also lengthen your stay and add as extra also other fishing permits and guided fishing tours (Utsjoki river fishing trips, fly fish grayling or trout from Teno River, wilderness lake fishing trips or Barents Sea king crab or sea fish trips).
