Our villas Sini and Valko are nestled in pristine nature in Rautjärvi, in the South Karelia region 🇫🇮. Combined they are Sinivalko Villat in Finnish as the colours of our flag.
Lake Nurmijärvi is crystal clear and fed by natural springs. The average depth is around 7 meters, with the deepest point reaching 28 meters. There are also shallow reefs and gently sloping shores, perfect spots for fishing or simply relaxing.
Particularly beautiful spring lies about 300 meters away on the opposite shore – a wonderful place to cool off on warm days and a taste of pure water.
Here, you can catch perch, trout and many other fish species in various ways. The most common catch is the delicious perch.

Villa Sini or Villa Valko are twins; both are great. Even combined for bigger group with (250m²) double the size of normal Villa. Make your choice, make your day and lovely stay on your holiday🌞🙏 ✈️Helsinki Airport to Simpele 3h18min by train. 11km to Villas by a car or taxi. ✈️ Nearest airport in Lappeenranta 70km 🚂 By train from Lappeenranta to Simpele (Rautjärvi) 55min. 🚕 From Simpele train stop to our Villas 11km. Easy access by plane, train, bus or car. Ask for transportation or local taxi 🚍🚙 From Villas to main road #6 (Karjalantie) bus stop only 1km open year around! Our carport is for maximum three cars. No EV charging. Nearest is in town center 11km away.

The water
Water is clean as it can be. No agriculture or man made swamp rivers allowed! Also in the bottom of this lake Nurmijärvi has springs bringing fresh water all the time. Could be seen with sonar. Average depth is over 7meters. Deepest spot is over 28 meters. Good for scubadivers also and fishing with harpoon in good visibility! Also shallow rocky reefs (beware with motored boat) :)

Fishing on site
There are many ways to fish here – using worms, ice fishing rods, casting gear, reels, tridents, and more. Spearfishing/tridenting is also possible, and we provide high-quality branded equipment and a sturdy, well-equipped boat. Safety and care always come first! So you have safety vests also in many sizes.
Fishing license: Finnish natiaonal casting license (week is 16e/year 47e) and regional permit, which I take care of.
Fishing license: Regional lisences are needed and I take care of those for you. Not expensive! Just tell how many and if only this our lake (half).
Water Introduction by Host
There is hot spots and also deep and shallow spots etc. I can guide you and send detailed maps. Also other areas than this our Nurmijärvi will be explored if you want.
