Our villas Sini and Valko (this one) are nestled in pristine nature in Rautjärvi, in the South Karelia region 🇫🇮.

Lake Nurmijärvi is crystal clear and fed by natural springs. The average depth is around 7 meters, with the deepest point reaching 28 meters. There are also shallow reefs and gently sloping shores, perfect spots for fishing or simply relaxing. A particularly beautiful spring lies about 300 meters away on the opposite shore – a wonderful place to cool off on warm days.

Here, you can catch trout and many other fish species in various ways. The most common catch is the delicious perch.

The peaceful, expansive landscape surrounding the villas offers a 75 m² terrace on each side and gently sloping stairs leading down to the dock. The area is largely mosquito-free, allowing you to fully enjoy the natural surroundings.

Despite the tranquil setting, all essential services, attractions, and leisure activities are within easy reach – if you decide to take a break from fishing and explore your holiday home’s surroundings. Many activities can be found within an 11-kilometer radius, or you can simply take a few steps to our private beach and forest area.

On request, we can also arrange special entertainment or relaxation experiences – for example, a live concert with professional musicians or sound healing sessions for your well-being.

On the large and diverse property (5,650 m²), you can relax and immerse yourself in nature. The garden offers berries, fruits, and other plants, while the surrounding forests provide mushrooms and berries – including delicious chanterelles.

We highly recommend trying trident fishing (Trident Fishing). We are happy to guide you – from weather observation to the ready-to-use equipment available here. This fishing method has a particularly magical charm during dusk or quiet night hours.

If needed, a spacious wine cellar is available for storing food and beverages.

Villa Sini or Villa Valko; both are great. Even combined for bigger group with (250m²) double the size of normal Villa. Easy access by plane, train, bus or car. Ask for transportation or local taxi 🚍🚙 From Villas to main road #6 (Karjalantie) bus stop only 1km open year around! Our carport is for maximum three cars. No EV charging. Nearest is in town 11km away.
