Set deep within an expansive forest, far from neighbors, the villa offers a private lakeshore and its own pier – a perfect hideaway for stillness, relaxation, and quiet moments with nature. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring the beauty and atmosphere of Rokua’s unique landscapes directly into the living space.

Nestled on the crystal-clear shores of Lake Vaulujärvi, Villa Villa Lichen provides complete privacy. The pure water of the lake invites you to take a refreshing swim in summer and offers unforgettable experiences throughout the year. You can fish with a rod or fly in the summer or try ice fishing during the winter months.

Guests are pampered with an authentic Finnish wood-heated sauna, a wood-fired hot tub and a covered terrace where you can grill and enjoy long, atmospheric evenings surrounded by nature. Down by the shore, your private campfire site awaits – a place where time seems to stand still as the flames dance in harmony with the forest’s silence. Even the youngest guests will find joy here: the private forest is home to a trampoline and a rope course, adding playfulness and laughter to the holiday from spring to autumn.

Sauna
The traditional wood-heated sauna is located in a separate building, complete with a bathroom featuring two showers. One of the villa’s bedrooms can be found here, offering peace and privacy in its own corner of the yard.

Close to the sauna, a wood-heated hot tub is available for an additional fee of 200 €. This price includes firewood and water, while guests heat the tub themselves following instructions.
