Villa Salmi is located on a stunning sandy beach at the edge of Lake Oulujärvi, offering a rare combination of pure Nordic nature and carefully designed comfort. The villa has been designed by a Finnish architect and every detail has been thoughtfully considered to create a modern and inviting atmosphere that blends seamlessly with its natural surroundings.

Large windows open up breathtaking views over the lake, allowing guests to experience the changing light and calm beauty of Finnish nature. The property designed for both relaxation and shared moments after a day spent fishing on the lake.

Outside, guests can enjoy a generous terrace that extends the living space into the natural surroundings. It is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy meals outdoors or simply take in the peaceful atmosphere of the lake.

In addition to the main villa, the property includes a separate guest cabin (shown in black in the images). This additional accommodation offers extra privacy and flexibility for additional sleeping space or a private retreat within the same property.

Our accommodation services include final cleaning and professionally laundered, pressed bed linen, ensuring a smooth and comfortable stay without practical worries. Our pricing includes also a local host service, ensuring smooth communication, on-site support, and a warm welcome throughout your stay. Upon arrival, you will also be greeted with a welcome drink, setting the tone for a relaxed and memorable experience at Lake Oulujärvi.


Guided Fishing Adventures on Lake Oulujärvi (Days 2–4)

Guests will experience fully guided fishing adventures on the pristine waters of Lake Oulujärvi. Each day offers a new opportunity to explore the vast lake, discover its hidden fishing spots and enjoy the tranquility of Finland’s untouched nature.
We work in close cooperation with three highly experienced local fishing guides, ensuring deep local knowledge, safety and high-quality experience. Each guide brings years of expertise and a true passion for fishing, making every trip both productive and memorable.

Whether you prefer trolling, casting or jigging, the fishing experience is always tailored to you preferences.
The fishing season runs from May to mid-October, offering excellent conditions throughout the summer and early autumn. Each guided trip lasts approximately 6 hours and takes place on Lake Oulujärvi, one of Finland’s most beautiful and unspoiled fishing destinations.

Flavours of the North – Private Dining Experiences

During your stay, all holiday meals are provided by Hideouts Dining and delivered directly to Villa Salmi, allowing you to fully relax and focus on your fishing experience and the surrounding nature. On your arrival day, a welcome dinner will be served at Villa Salmi, offering a relaxed first evening after your journey. On days 2, 3, and 4, all three daily meals are included: breakfast, lunch, and a 3-course dinner. On your departure day, you will enjoy breakfast at Villa Salmi before check-out.
Each day is designed around effortless, high-quality dining in the comfort of your own accommodation and outdoors in the heart of Lake Oulujärvi.

Begin your mornings with a fine dining-style breakfast experience. The breakfast is thoughtfully composed of two savoury and two sweet dishes selected in advance by your group. All breakfast items are delivered the evening before and placed in your villa’s refrigerator, allowing you to start your day peacefully, at your own pace, immediately after waking up.
Lunches are enjoyed flexibly during your fishing days – either on board the boat or on a remote island or lunch restaurant, depending on the day’s itinerary and your guide’s recommendations. This allows you to stay fully immersed in the fishing experience without interruption.

In the evenings, you will return to Villa Salmi to enjoy a beautifully prepared 3-course dinner, served in the comfort of your private accommodation. Our menus are crafted from fresh, local ingredients, showcasing the authentic flavours of Northern Finland in a refined yet natural way. We are also delighted to include your own catch in the menu, allowing you to enjoy an even more authentic and memorable connection to your fishing experience.

This fishing holiday is designed for a group of four guests and requires a minimum booking of four persons to be reserved as a complete package. This ensures the best possible experience in terms of logistics, guiding quality and shared activities on the lake.
