On this family friendly fishing trip we head to the labyrinths of Linnansaari. We'll spend the day enjoying fishing from the boat and from the shore by hook-and-line and spinning. When the weather is good we stop on one of the area’s sandy beaches and go swimming. During the trip we will enjoy some snacks.
Fishing method: spinning and angling.
Boat: Fishing boat accessible Faster CAT. Boat is fully equipped for fishing. Life jackets and rain gear are always included.
Starting place Oravi harbour. If you are staying at one of our villas in Oravi, we'll pick you up directly from your villa.

On this guided fishing trip, we’ll head into the beautiful archipelago of Linnansaari for a relaxing day of fishing and enjoying nature. We’ll fish both from the boat and from the shore using rods and spinning gear. If the weather is nice, we can also stop for a swim at one of the area’s sandy beaches.

Getting to Oravi by Public Transport By Bus Take a bus to Savonlinna. On school days, there is a local bus connection between Savonlinna and Oravi: https://opas.matka.fi By Train The nearest train stations are in Savonlinna, about 42 km from Oravi. There are two stops: Pääskylahti (east side of the city) and the Market Square stop (city center). From the train, you can continue to Oravi by safari bus, local bus, or taxi. Continue through Mikkeli toward Juva. At Juva, turn onto route 14 (Juva–Savonlinna). Drive through Savonlinna and turn onto route 471 (Enonkoskentie) near Prisma. After 5 km, turn left onto Juvolantie 468. Drive ~23 km, then turn left onto Tappuvirrantie. After ~9 km, turn right onto Kiramontie. From the North (Joensuu): Take road 17 toward Kuopio for ~11 km, turn left onto Liperintie 476, drive ~48 km. Turn left onto Pölläkäntie 471, continue ~38 km. Turn right onto Laasalantie, drive ~12 km, then turn onto Tappuvirrantie. After ~9 km, turn right onto Kiramontie. From the West (Varkaus): Take route 23 (Taipaleentie) ~10 km toward Heinävesi. Turn right onto Rauhamäentie 468. Drive ~50 km, then turn left onto Kiramontie. Note: A ferry crossing (operating 24/7) is along this route. The ferry is free of charge. The ferry has 4 short breaks during the day, more info here: Tappuvirta ferry From the East (Lappeenranta): Take route 6 toward Imatra, drive ~100 km, then turn onto route 14 (Savonlinnantie). Drive ~50 km, then turn right onto Enonkoskentie 471. After 5 km, turn onto Juvolantie 468, drive ~23 km, turn left onto Tappuvirrantie. After ~9 km, turn right onto Kiramontie. From Savonlinna: Head toward Enonkoski. Near Prisma, turn onto Enonkoskentie 471. Drive 5 km, turn onto Juvolantie 468. Continue ~23 km, turn left onto Tappuvirrantie, then after ~9 km, turn right onto Kiramontie.
