We’ve put together the perfect Arctic Fishing packages for you. All packages include: - 5 Nights accommodation in an authentic Finnish style cabin with a private sauna and grand views over the Arctic landscapes is included in this holiday, along with all meals prepared at our river front restaurant from local ingredients to match all dietary needs. - 4 Days of guided Arctic fishing at the best spots known by locals, around the most opportune times for target species. We’ll take care of all the necessary permits, you just cast your fly and enjoy. - Unique experiences on indigenous Sami lands in northernmost Finnish Lapland can also be added to your vacation to make this a well rounded moderately action backed and memorable vacation. You can add a King crab safari and feast in Norway. Also a guided hike, or a cultural Village Tour & Sightseeing can be added to your stay. You will just have to make your way over to Ivalo airport and we’ll take it from there! For your optimal fishing experience the location and time of day of the fishing activity will be decided on location on day by day basis so that we can take you to the best locations in the best possible weather conditions each day. Sunday: After breakfast we will transport you back to the airport to travel back home with memorable fishing stories from the Arctic. You are free to add additional activities from our activity list, and there are plenty of things to do around the resort area on your free time. You will have access to our fire pits, the river to swim in and our private hiking trail to the highlands leaving from behind our resort. The long summer days and the midnight sun are also a photographers dream; there’s beautiful landscapes, wildflowers and fauna to photograph and enjoy. During the first summer weeks your guide will take you to the most abundant and beautiful grayling fishing destinations. Later in the summer our guided fly fishing adventures are directed more towards finding the most amazing trout fishing spots. Depending on the year and timing of your holiday, the invasive but oh so tasty pink salmon is also on the menu. Other abundant species in the area include pike, perch, white fish and arctic char.

During your holiday with Aurora Holidays your home away from home is a traditional, cozy and spacious cabin overlooking the mighty Teno river over to Norway. As any authentic Finnish cabin; each of the cabins has its own private sauna. We have four (4) cabins and two (2) apartments. Each cottage sleeps up to 4 people. They have two twin bedrooms and there is also a sofa bed in the living room where another two people can sleep (this makes it possible to accommodate 5 or 6 ppl in one cabin, but it is more comfortable when max. four (4) people share a cabin. Apartments are slightly bigger but they also sleep 4 people + 2 on the sofa bed. Each cottage is equipped with: - electricity and water (tap water is drinkable) - shower and sauna - indoor toilet - hair dryer - bed linen, towels and sauna seat cover towels are provided - fully equipped kitchen - cleaning equipment - free wifi - Black out curtains - air conditioning All the cottages are heated. The cottages and apartments are all heated with geothermal heating. There is floor heating in the bedrooms and living rooms. In addition to the floor heating in other rooms, the bathroom also has underfloor heating. Each cottage is also equipped with heating/cooling AC and the apartments have a device for cooling down in the summer. There is also an electric sauna in each cottage.
Requirements:
Cancellation If the cancellation comes more than 60 days before arrival, you only lose your deposit. If the cancellation comes between 59 and 31 days before arrival 25% of already paid amount will be paid back – excluding the deposit. Cancellations done 30 days or less than 30 days before the holiday: holiday is scheduled to start and payments are not refunded at all. If a person in your group must cancel, someone else can take their place for no extra charge. It may also be possible to change the booking to another time, if there is availability In case there is the need to cancel, then person who made the booking in the first place, should be the one to give written notice of cancellation and the charges shown apply from the date that we receive the notice at our office. On a case-by-case basis, it may be possible to transfer your holiday to another dates.
