I will pick you up from the Ruka-Kuusamo area, and we will start our journey by collecting our rafting gear. Afterward, we’ll take a scenic 1.5 km hike to the river, where our exciting adventure begins. We’ll start our rafting and fishing trip at the impressive Jyrävä Rapids and continue downstream along the Kitka River, passing through the picturesque Oulanka National Park. Our journey will end at the Russian border. Along the way, you’ll fish at remote spots that are difficult to reach, so they are visited by only a few. We will take a relaxing lunch break by an open fire right by the riverbank. You’ll have fantastic opportunities for dry fly fishing, with a special focus on grayling and dace. An unforgettable experience in the midst of pristine nature awaits you.
