The journey begins in Kuusamo or Ruka, heading to the river where an experienced fishing guide has carefully selected the best spots.
Grayling fishing starts with a minimum size of 35 cm, but larger specimens are the real prize – grayling over 40 cm are waiting to be caught, and in these waters, there is even a chance to encounter trophies over half a meter long.
As the day progresses into evening, trout fishing takes center stage. Rising trout provide a challenging opponent, and the more attention and skill are applied, the more rewarding and fascinating the experience becomes.
Between fishing sessions, delicious meals and a warm cup of coffee provide relaxation and a chance to enjoy the surrounding scenery. Average trout weigh around 1.5 kg, with the largest specimens reaching up to 3 kg. Fishing here requires patience and skill, and while success is never guaranteed, every moment is an unforgettable experience.
Fishing licenses are available for an additional fee.
