This brand new wooden villa, right by the shore of the famous River Teno, is located only 4 km from Utsjoki village center. The villa has all modern necessities: fully equipped kitchen, large dining area and spacious living room, wood-heated sauna, large terrace with grill, big windows with beautiful view to the Teno river and private forest area, two bedrooms and a spacious balcony with extra beds, central heating and running water, cozy fireplace, ethernet, wifi, TV and as much coziness and peace and quiet of nature as you can wish for!

In Villa Aitti, you are surrounded by the pristine Lappish nature and the spectacular Teno river valley. The arctic highlands with hiking trails are right next to you. In the arctic rivers and lakes of Utsjoki region, you can enjoy fishing or other water activities, such as open water swimming or paddling sports. When you stay at Villa Aitti, you get a discount from Travel Utsjoki´s guided tours and rental equipment!

The accommodation price includes 1-4 guests per night and arrival introduction to the local area and services. For an extra cost, even up to 8 people can accommodate in Villa Aitti. Cleaning fee is 150 euros/stay and pet fee is 50 euros/stay.

Arrival Instructions

Utsjoki is a beautiful Sámi village in Northernmost Finnish Lapland, in the crossing of Great River Teno and river Utsjoki. Utsjoki are surrounded by two large wilderness areas, Kaldoaivi and Paistunturi wilderness areas. The easiest way to travel to Utsjoki is to fly to Ivalo and then request for a private airport transfer from us, hire a rental car or take the bus from Ivalo to Utsjoki. Utsjoki is about 2 hour drive from Ivalo and Kirkenes airports, with good road connection. You can also reach Utsjoki with a bus connection from Rovaniemi. Villa Aitti is 4 km from Utsjoki village, and you can reserve a private transfer from Ivalo airport or Kirkenes to Villa Aitti or from Utsjoki village to Villa Aitti.

1301-Paistunturi

The extensive angling permit area of Paistunturi is located in the Paistunturi wilderness area around Kevo Strict Nature Reserve and in the northern parts of the Muotkatunturi wilderness. The permit area includes lake, pond and river waters. Local fellside birch forests and open fells hide a large number of fishing waters where the most coveted fish species are the Arctic char, trout and grayling. The waters of the area also contain whitefish, pike and perch.

    Economic Development Centres decision on restricting fishing (1.6 - 30.11)

    I.All fishing is prohibited in the Kiel River and its tributaries upstream of the Karigasniemi road bridge on the Stuorraäytsijoki. II. Fishing of all kinds is prohibited except for rod and lure fishing in the Kaamasjoki above the mouth of the Syysjoki and in the Kieljoki downstream of the Karigasniemi road bridge from 1 June to 30 November. III. Fishing with gillnets is prohibited in the area below the mouth of the river Syysjoki from 1 July to 30 November. IV. In the River Kaamas and Lakes Muddus and Vastus, 200 m closer to the mouth or mouth of the river and in the waters between Lakes Muddus and Vastus, nets of a maximum height of 2 m and a maximum single-strand monofilament net of 0,15 mm may be used. The net shall not be deployed in the rapids or closer than 200 m to the mouth or mouth of the rapids. V. During the closed season, fishing is permitted from under the ice with baited hooks and pots. Note ! According to Chapter 3, Article 12 of the Fisheries Decree of 26.11.2015/1360, fishing with a net is prohibited in a river belonging to a migratory fishing area from 15 August to the end of 30 November.

The Muotkatunturi-Kaldoaivi angling permit area comprises the River Näätämöjoki and the River Kiellajoki and Kaamasjoki river basins. The area consists of the extensive wilderness areas in Muotkatunturi, Kaldoaivi and Paistunturi and is located between the Utsjoki municipal border and Sevettijärventie and Angelintie roads. The permit area contains a lot of lake, pond and river waters.
